Hatch Antofagasta wins multiple safety awards
August 29, 2011
For the third time in a row, Hatch Antofagasta has been recognized for its outstanding safety practices. The office received the Risk Prevention Excellence Award and the National Safety Council Award from the Chilean Safety Council.
The awards were in recognition of Hatch Antofagasta’s level of quality and performance in maintaining a safe workplace for employees and clients.
The Risk Prevention Excellence Award is presented to companies that have registered a zero-incident frequency rate for two consecutive years.
The National Safety Council Award is presented for registering the lowest incident frequency rates in the industry based on the number of staff. Hatch Antofagasta currently has 72 staff.
The Chilean Safety Council is a non-profit, private organization created by the Chilean government in 1953. Its objective is to promote occupational health and safety and risk prevention, and to create awareness of work-related incidents and diseases among the industries operating in Chile.
Both awards represent Hatch’s ongoing commitment towards our goal of “No Harm."
