USA and Canada: Hatch’s Alliance with U.S. Steel

Hatch–U.S. Steel alliance supports capital program

In an alliance with U.S. Steel, Hatch provides engineering, procurement, and construction management services at six U.S. Steel facilities in the USA and Canada.

Since November 2009 Hatch has been responsible for all capital projects with a total installed cost of between $100,000 and $100 million, and several strategic projects in excess of $100 million. Services provided during theb initial three-year term are expected to exceed 200,000 work-hours per year, and focus primarily on plant sites in Nanticoke and Hamilton, Ontario; Gary, Indiana; Granite City, Illinois; Minnesota Taconite and Keewatin Taconite, Minnesota; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
