Peterborough Utilities has appointed Hatch as Owner’s Engineer for the construction of the 10-megawatt Lily Lake solar farm, one of the first utility-scale solar farms in Ontario. Lily Lake features two types of solar panels that use a durable and weather-resistant anamorphic thin film to collect solar energy.

Hatch’s role during construction includes design reviews; construction inspection; noise assessment; solar panel performance testing; Phase 1 environmental site assessment; and commissioning.
