Hatch signs multi-year agreement with BC Hydro for substation upgrades

BC Hydro has retained Hatch under a multi-year Master Services Agreement to provide engineering services for substation rehabilitation and upgrading projects. During 2010, Hatch provided services on eight separate mandates, covering substation upgrades at voltages ranging from 15 kilovolt (kV) to 230 kV at more than 30 sites throughout British Columbia. The work included circuit breaker replacements, surge arrestor replacements, transformer changeouts and upgrades of protection and control facilities.
