Hatch takes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously. Our commitment is to behave ethically and transparently whenever and wherever we are assigned to client projects. Our objective is to improve the quality of life of our employees and contractors, their families and the local community from the moment we are engaged until final handover of a project.

Safety and Quality

Safety and quality are priorities on all Hatch projects. Over the past five years, Hatch’s annual hours worked doubled to more than 40 million, yet our lost-time injury frequency (LTIF) has maintained a rate of just 0.13 for every 200,000 project hours worked.

Last year, Hatch won more than a dozen industry awards, recognizing our excellence in engineering, management, innovation and safety.

Project LifeCycle Process

Hatch’s process for executing some of the world’s most challenging projects is built on a phased approach. Hatch plans carefully for quality outcomes and zero harm to employees and contractors using the Hatch Project LifeCycle Process. This approach has consistently proven that the process can reduce risk and deliver predictable outcomes.

Engineering

Hatch has earned a reputation for superior project outcomes based on a strong tradition of engineering excellence and innovative design. Hatch’s expertise incorporates all major disciplines of engineering as well as areas of specialist expertise.

Our teams are equipped with the latest tools and technologies including data-centric 3D plant design systems, parametric 3D component design software, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics and many types of simulation software

Procurement

Hatch’s procurement services include design, planning and execution of procurement strategies, supplier evaluation, tender management, expediting, quality surveillance, logistics, site materials-management and contract administration. Hatch’s award-winning, innovative global procurement methodologies and systems help projects meet their budget and schedule despite the tight supply markets that are expected to prevail in coming years for most capital goods and services.

Construction Management

Hatch effectively plans, executes and completes projects by applying well-developed systems based on early construction involvement with a focus on facility start-up.

Hatch helps clients deliver their project objectives by developing and implementing strategies using the best people and technologies, and bringing consistency across operations, while focusing on a high level of certainty for safety, performance, quality, cost and schedule.

Commissioning and Start-up

Hatch coordinates activities between the client and engineering, procurement and construction teams early in the project life cycle in order to organize the activity sequencing for a quick and successful start-up.

We focus on placing the best people on site to handle testing and commissioning to ensure that design performance is met and the facility achieves rapid ramp-up.
